LaKendra McNair
LaKendra McNair is an experienced banking professional, business development coach, diversity and inclusion advocate, and curator of equitable engagement in the community. She is committed to be a change agent in bridging the gaps of “access to information and core network” in a diverse and economically evolving business community. LaKendra has over 20 years of retail, business, and government banking experience in the Greater Washington Area LaKendra is currently Vice President and Business Development Officer at M&T Bank with a focus on Minority, Women, Veteran, and Economically Disadvantaged owned business community in the District of Columbia.
LaKendra serves on the Membership Committee and Co-Chair of the Women In Business Committee of the DC Chamber of Commerce; on the board of Life Pieces To Masterpieces, and Co-President of the Women In Network National Chapter, President of the Greater Washington Area Women in Network Resource Group, and Business Development Co-Chair for the Mid Atlantic African American Resource Group at M&T Bank. This has exposed her to core competencies businesses need to scale and sustain their business. She has served on the boards of National Forum for Black Public Administrators DC Chapter and the Greater Washington Area Government Finance Officers Association.
